After 10 years, Keith Jones is finally in the spotlight. One of the requirements was that I was hoping to have all spotlight members have families. Was not sure this would ever happen, but thankfully it did. Keith has been a great friend and a huge supporter of myself and the Riva Classic yearly gathering. I thank him for his efforts in motivating us at times to get this thing moving. Welcome Keith, Annie, Charlie and...........TBD, to the "spotlight"!
Company that you work for and how long:
East West Partners, a residential development company that builds highly amenitized, lifestyle communities along the east coast.  In Florida we have done golf course communities.  I have worked for the company for 21 years, hard to believe since I am only 35, which leads me to the next question

Children:
My daughter is Charlie Anne Jones.  She will be 3 years old on June 29.  She is a blast; lots of her mother in her, so lovable and sweet and active and helpful and cute, and some of her Dad as well, so she can be a bit of a pain in the ass (are you allowed to say that about your children?  I am new to this).  Got another on the way, this one with a penis.  He is due on May 10, so once you get this he will be here, and we may even have a name for him by then.  Brodie Keene Jones is the leader in the clubhouse.  I am already afraid he will be too much like his father, and not enough like his mother, and will destroy me.  Payback can be a b%&*ch.  How old am I?

What you and Annie enjoy doing together:
Annie has taught me to enjoy the beach.  To enjoy our families.  We spend a lot of time together doing a whole lotta nothing, and still have fun.  She thinks I am a grumpy, old man (first time I ever heard that), and somehow, loves me (she must be nuts).  Me, I hit the lottery.  Not one of those million dollar winners, but one of the mega millions.  And thankfully, so far, I know that and feel blessed to be loved by her.  I will do my best to remember that and you all are more than welcome to remind me at any time.  Took almost 40 years to find her.  Can you believe she married me???

When you got married and where:
April 24 will be our 5 year wedding anniversary.  We got married in a very small ceremony, about 50 people, in Jacksonville.  DC and Bonz "attended".  I put in quotes because they walked in the door to the church and sat down the moment Annie and I turned around as husband and wife.  Missed the whole thing.  Then they tried to play it off like they had been there the whole time.  Hilarious, and I wouldn't expect much more from any of you.

Does Annie work?
I am Annie's sugar daddy, so she doesn't work, formally, at this point.  Does some ad min stuff from home for a company in her spare time, but mostly she takes care of Charlie and I.  She is a great southern girl.  Great home maker and I eat delicious food.  No doubt in my mind, or anyone else's that knows me, she works harder and I do.

What did you do after college?
I think most of you know what I did after college.  I did a bunch of stupid, fun, lonely, memorable stuff.  My whole life, I wanted to be married and have children.  Yet, I couldn't find anyone who I could tolerate longer than a few months.  I watched all of you get married and start families, and I was envious.  I guess that may be the surprising thing;  I wanted that life.  And after a long time without finding it, I started to believe it may not be in the cards for me.  Which sucked.  Then......I met Annie, and my life changed.  I have all that I ever wanted, and more.  An amazing wife, a lovable daughter, and another one on the way.  Full family.  A little later than expected, but everything that I expected.  I am blessed.  You all, my good friends, are the constant.  You were the best part of me for so long, now you are the icing on the cake for me.  An amazing life full of family and friends.  Who could ask for more?

I wanted this to be funny.  Started out with that intent and this stuff came out.  I guess I can deal with it.  10 years of the Riva Classic and 20+ years of friendships.  Not many people can say these things.  It is a special group and I have love for all of you collectively, and individually.  The deepest respect as I watch you all as fathers and husbands and as providers for your families.  Men I respect and admire.  I could go on, but I will chose not to as there is more to come in the future.  Love you boys.  Roll on Riva Classic.
